Google Cloud Growth Continues to Accelerate
Having spent the last 4 years working with one of the largest (if not the largest) single user of Google Cloud, offering design and build solutions, it certainly makes sense to me to continually see their growth accelerate.
None of the cloud providers are perfect in all areas, they each have their benefits and drawbacks, which is why Mesoform works with a number of them and our solutions favour a multi cloud platform model. However, working with Google Cloud is very intuitive and the things they are good for, they do really well.
How Google handles logical organisations for resources and policy constraints around it; how they apply software perimeters around your implementation of their services; the way you manage and integrate identity and access management (IAM), and especially their AI (as you would probably expect), is incredibly powerful and flexible but still provides a very friendly way to use them.

Why Aren't You Testing Your Infrastructure Deployment Code?
I did a talk recently on the importance of testing IaC or Infrastructure as Code. At Mesoform we use Terraform a lot for deploying infrastructure for clients and have become, if I do say so myself, experts in this field, so the talk was on how to improve testing through the whole process of writing the code to deploy and update critical resources.
Check out the details of the talk, and the talk itself on the Hashicorp link below, and the slides can be found at here
Warning, it's a little techie but I know some business focused people who watched the talk and still got some useful information from it (the techie part is mostly the last half).
